Fernando Harriague brings over fifteen years of teaching experience across a wide range of subjects, including high school and college-level mathematics—Geometry, Algebra Pre-Calculus, Calculus (single and multivariable), Statistics, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra—as well as College Physics, covering topics such as Mechanics, Waves, Fluids, Themodynamics, Electromagnetism, Optics, Special Relativity, and Introductory Quantum Mechanics. He also teaches General Chemistry and is highly experienced in preparing students for students for standardized and advanced placement exams, including the SAT Math, ACT Math and Science, AP Physics (1, 2, and C), AP Calculus (AB and BC), AP Statistics, and AP Chemistry. Fernando holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics with minors in Mathematics and Economics from UC Berkeley and a M.S. in Electrophysics from USC, where he also pursued doctoral studies in Nanophotonics. His current research focuses on Mathematical Finance and Econophysics.
